"You can't see anything from a car; you've got to get out of the goddamn contraption and walk, better yet crawl, on hands and knees, over the sandstone and through the thornbrush and cactus. When traces of blood begin to mark your trail, you'll see something, maybe." ~ Ed Abbey
Boost Your Car’s Horsepower Made Easy
May 9, 2007
Unleash the power and hot rod of your car with these simple tips!
We all want speed, right? The need for speed as they say. We all want our car to be the meanest monster on the streets, am I right? So you better follow these simple steps for you to achieve the best auto performance and delivery that your car has to offer! You better check your brakes first because it’s going to be a fast ride after applying the procedures!
The simple steps:
Replace the car's stock air filter with a free-flow one.
- Go to the nearest stores and get a free-flow air filter that matches your car.
- Open the hood and find the housing of the air filter. (It’s the long pipe-like stuff linked the engine to a square, plastic box.)
- Take out screws or clamps. Open the filter housing.
- Take out the existing filter and throw it aside. Clean the inside of the box with a moist piece of cloth.
- Place in the brand new free-flow filter. Close housing box and close hood.
- Enjoy the extra push and power!
Improve your engine's computer with a power module.
- Detach the negative battery cable.
- Situate the car's computer and figure out how to gain access to it
- Unplug wiring connection from the computer.
- Plug in an after-market power component between the wiring harness and the computer.
- Follow the module's instructions for starting car.
- Fill it up with gas and drive and race with up to 30 extra pony kicks.
Tips
- If you’re done with the upgrading procedure, test your car’s speed by taking to a safe place like sanctioned race tracks. It is advisable because it records your car’s performance and improvements and it is safer at the same time. You can evaluate the difference between the upgraded version of your car and its previous performance before having it done with the upgrading.
